I was able to get things done and buy my British Lit book.
Right now I'm searching through Amazon for everything else.

Today I did some shopping. Let's review!
1 Navy Cardigan @ the Gap on sale w/extra 40% off = $7
1 Black Cardigan " " = $9
1 Royal Blue Polo (for my brother) " " = $5
1 Solid Light Blue Tee " " = $2
In total everything came about to around $23 bucks
considering it's all Gap, I think it was worth it for what it was regularly priced
Then at Office Max
3 Subject Notebooks (college rule) & a box of crayons = $.25
you can still buy things with a quarter
there are a lot of sales going on at the moment and I encourage everyone to shop now because when tax free weekend comes around, a lot of the regular stores just charge at retail and take off sales to make up for whatever was lost in tax.
I'm thinkin Arby's tonight, Vany was supposed to call but I guess she got busy.
Hopefully tonight is great. I have a ton of things to do tomorrow.
Drop my bro off at band camp then pick up his registration packet for his senior year of high school! Then I have to go to TAMIU and change one of my Poli Sci classes to another one on tue/thur in afternoon rather than morning. Also gotta go buy my British Lit book at the bookstore, I'm thinkin my Comm books will be bought on Amazon, but I'll see what comes out to be cheaper.

I've tried rhapsody but prefered itunes

Some people are sitting around waiting for some kind of special call or revelation from God before they get involved in his work. It's not likely to happen because God has already given us lots of instructions in his Word regarding what to do. All we need to do is read them … and start moving.

Today's worship song is by the Christian rock band, Switchfoot and it was an extremely popular song a few years ago called, Dare You to Move. Faith is dead unless you put an action behind what you say. Anyone can say they will follow or believe that good things will come to them, but God dares us to make this happen. Even though we have been praying for things to go our way like, "Lord give me this promotion and I will dedicate more of my time to you" or :"Lord get me through this semester and I promise I'll do more things in your name." How many times have we done this and not gone through with what we said?
God wants us to always be doing things in his name and to always have a full heart dedicated to him, it shouldn't be as a result of something he's done/given to us. Dare to do what God wants, dare to take risk knowing that God will guide and protect you, Dare to jump into something and having faith that everything will turn it well. That's putting action behind faith.
Don't expect for God to bless you, prove that you are worthy of a blessing. He dares you to move.

I don't do it on purpose
but any time I take a nap during the day
even if it's just for half an hour
I won't be sleepy.
To be honest, I'm one of the most horrible sleepers
you can find.
I've always been this way
for nineteen years...except
for a year, when i was going to my first year
at Martin...I slept so well because
I'd have to be awake every morning by 6 to be at the bandhall
for 7am marching, then I'd come home at 8 or 9 from Tapestry
and do homework till 11 where I'd fall asleep
I had a real set sleeping time
I've never been able to do that again
and it's worse with college now.

so it's no big deal

Friendship
Friendship is very important to me. The communication involved in an a mutual relationship
where two parties express an equal interest of concern for the other coupled with trust,
forgiveness, happiness, and compromise might be one of the most important
relationships we have with any human being.
And maybe it's this whole fascination with communication that really is the
reason there is this intrigue bursting within me.
I've been examining my friendships with certain individuals and have come to
some very interesting conclusions.
While I'd love to write them down, it's past 2 in the morning...and I have class tomorrow.

I just finished taking my test for my music class and I know I wanted to ace it. So hopefully I come out with a good grade...I was the last one to finish and it felt a bit embarassing...

Today I had nothing in particular planned well, I wanted to sleep. Yesterday was a night of paralysis...I hate it when that happens. It feels disgusting and keeps me up way too late.

There have been so many Jane Eyre movies made throughout the years both small and large productions. Currently though, I'm trying to figure out which one has been my favorite, so the next few postings will include every Eyre movie and year it was made.
